Alongside Civ V and VI, this game is lost gem for me. Fighting is almost like in HoMM series, other mechanics like city are a bit different - in a good way. Give it a shot! U have factions here, which change your gameplay experience and possibilities. Oh, and the soundtrack.. so amusing.

I actually played this for a while years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you love RTS games, then this is for you. Not only is the game fun, but has a MASSIVE amount of DLC that you can purchase for it as well.

The lore behind the game is incredible and each faction has its own unique playstyle. There are many different victory paths, so even after playing so many times, the game is still fun to play. Combat is a little finicky, but aside from that, I highly recommend this game.

This is an excellent 4X strategy game that offers a remarkable amount of variety and depth. With multiple factions that play fundamentally differently, each campaign feels unique and encourages experimentation. It's ok, if you get it on sale or free. :) Diplomacy is a joke, don't bother. Just stack and take over the world. Make sure you're using your buffs from resources.

Doesn't actually run on MacOS, not on my silicon mac at least. Eternal black screen and beachballing.
